by Neil Simon. Directed by David Ivall

Charley and Viv have invited eight friends to their wedding anniversary party
but, when the first two arrive, they find that Viv has disappeared, while
Charley has shot himself in the earlobe and passed out. Since he is a
government minister, his friends are desperate to avoid scandal. As each new
couple arrives, they are at first kept in the dark until the others are forced to
tell them what happened – but why did it happen? Then in Act Two the police
arrive…
This farce, by legendary American playwright Neil Simon, has for this
production been updated and transferred to the Home Counties.

Sell out audiences came to witness the convoluted comic complications and enjoyed the bonus of our 40th anniversary display showcasing all our previous performances on entry to the hall.
